Hey peep, we should be able to have a class outing on saturday. Tentatively, we'll be meeting at around 5 pm.
We probably won't be having BBQ since Des has to work on saturday. So, we should be having dinner at some cafe/restaurant.
I have a few suggestions:
1) BBQ at east coast or pasir ris
2) Miss Clarity Cafe(vegetarian Food r available) (Bugis) http://missclaritycafe.com/
3) Holland V - There are alot of cafes, bars and restaurants at that area, perfect place to chill out(vegetarian food are available). Some attraction that you will find in Holland V are our all time fav Settlers' Cafe, Eskibar, Big Coffee Bean, Starbucks etc... htttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holland_Village,_Singapore http://www.visitsingapore.com/publish/stbportal/en/home/what_to_do/nightlife_in_singapore/nightspot/Holland_Village.html
4) Siglap - PizzaHut, TCC, Cafe Cartel etc. I suppose Vegetarian Food are available too http://www.visitsingapore.com/publish/stbportal/en/home/about_singapore/ezine_home/Dec06/60_seconds/siglap.html
5) Fisherman's Village, provided its not raining. We can enjoy the breeze and chat our heart out. Some drinks with finger food, perfect!
6) Clarke Quay - I don't really recommend clark quay on a saturday. crowded. Nonetheless, there are good food and ahem.. clubs.. awww~ http://www.clarkequay.com.sg/
7) One Fullerton, Marina Square, Suntec- Sea View, Starbucks by the Bay http://www.fullertonhotel.com/recreation/onefullerton.html
8) Club Street, Far East Square - Alot of pubs and restaurant eg, Jerry's, Indochine, Sushi Teh http://www.realdestination.com/singapore/wine%20&%20dine/club%20street.php
If you guys have any other suggestion, please feel free to voice out. And pls pick one of the choice above. If you guys don't mind the distance, holland V is good. If distance is a problem, i'll vote for miss clarity.
yeahness!
