Singapore, i love u soooooooooooooo much that no amount of words can describe it. lol... mayb national service was meant to make servicemen miss mainland so badly that they'll appreciate and love it more, thus, defending the nation. XD

Ok dudes! I'm back in mainland! aint u all glad? i tink i shlnt give too much spoilers abt my army life there la, cos it defers from man to man. but all i can say is, its fun yet tough and tiring, with lots of sai kang to do. and the best ting is, i've got a white horse as my bunk mate cum 1/2 buddy. LOL. humble horse tho. =)

eh yuezhi, i got free ice-cream treat not? i in tekong island getting tortured. zzzzzzzz... noe wad? i'm confined for ano/r 2 weeks noe! tt means, the nxt time i book out wld b wif the Pes C peeps. y? cos i've gto field camp! WTH. smelly undies, shit holes, trenches, chunko-s, a million billion gazillion mosquitoes and lastly, maybe even footrot (smth which i wldnt wanna get). the mosquitoes in tekong all commando style mossies. u observe carefully their heads got a red beret on it. y? cos they got ARMOUR-PIERCING rounds. can bite thru the thick army uniform. they even fly into boots and camp in there overnite, den nxt morn when u wear, die. kena bite. den when u remove ur boots, u see it fly out of ur boots. den u'll "diao...." worst stil, the mossies come in large no.s such as few hundreds. my bunkmate fragged 54 in a week. everynite, i kena bitten by like 10 mossies la. den in a company, got like 200 ppl. during RO, all congregate together. u imagine if each person on avg kena bitten by 5, den there're 1000 mossies already. cos each mossie sucks from 1 at a time.

on a personal note, i've managed to experience up and gain a few more useful skills. such as to survive w/o bathing, to shit in 14 sec (i'm serious, from time of entry into toilet into time i leave), and to bathe in less dan 1 min (water, soap, facial foam, wash tru, done).

so to all the NS guys there, go enjoy urself. altho it's tough (we're forced to run at 2.4 speed for 20 mins for training, and for CPT, their warm up is more jia lat dan NAPFA test as a whole), seeing everyone suffer together really bonds ppl, like builds up camaradarie (no where else builds this, not even in all guys sch). met ALOT of pri sch frens and long lost frens either. see... army = rewarding (i've been brainwashed, lol... jkin) XD

to the o/r guys gg in, since u all are enhanced batch (9 wks bmt), i advice u EXERCISE! dun be like me! from NAPFA gold to IPPT FAIL!!!! lol... i'm all rusted. so yea... go train. =)

hmm its crazy to see how time flies. was simply jus scrolling down the blog and saw eugene's post regarding ms tan's sending off. dated 3rd January. now its the 18th. ahhh, no more school even, which is a sad thing to note. no ms tan who will be nagging at us each day, no slacking at the canteen during recess, no soccer during pe, no volleyball, no mrs gay's bio lessons where we made the most noise, no more math remedials, no more crazy ms lee and slack mr lee. now everyone's working, and its jus so hard to even meet up. hahha im jus being nostalgic and sentimental cant help it. i want school so much, tutorials or lectures, anything!

i miss our class :)

i remember one time during gp tutorial when i was sitting at the back of the class with eugene. suddenly i laughed quite soundly tat ms tan heard n scolded me hmmm. tat was cause we were discussing something like morals when ms tan asked like what would you do if someone rapes your sister or something, and eugene told me something like he'll ask the person's dad to join in lol! tat came so sudden i laughed like mad, den cnt tahan ms tan was alerted and there she go lol. its really damn funny, no kidding lol.

that was what happened to our tan-tan say, 12 hours ago, when 12 of us went to send her off to J-land.
For those of u who did not turn up or could not make it, it'd probably be the last time u'll see lydia til june. Not forgetting that u all missed an exclusive "tears of the tan" scene. XD

Significance of the jigsaw:
1) On the picture, a volleyball is painted. It signifies the volleyball competition in which we took part in as a class, be it supporting, cheering or playing. What matters is we did it as a class.
2) The rope signifies yet another event in which our class gave its utmost support to its participants. Stamimania!
3) The scroll should be pretty easy to understand. It means our academic achievements; be it by one person, two persons, three people or the entire class.
4) The fiery 05S01 represents our "burning passion" in the class, our "enthusiasm" (no sarcasm involved) in the many things we did as a class... Seasports Carnival? Open-house?
5) The baton would of course represents our 12x100m race. =)
6) The jigsaw is made up of 26 pieces; and on the back of each piece is the name of everyone of us and ms lydia tan. It signifies that only when the 26 "pieces" (or people) are together can we form a class, our class, with all our achievements and spirit (lets ignore bygones in this scenario)
7) The inner side of the template is self-explainable. XD And it wounldn't end here... 63072000 seconds is not all the time we're going to spend together. To each end is a new beginning. Lets embrace the new and not cast aside the old. =)
8) Secret of the day!!!
- Ms lydia tan, if you're reading this, do you know that on the scroll (the picture) lies a hidden message? What may seem like hyphens and dots (ignore the squiggly lines) are actually morse-codes to a hidden message meant for YOU! Hope you'll spend time to decipher it, as we've spent time creating what we hope would be a part of u. =)
