the effects of time, never seem not to take a toll on relationships. dreaded or not, that is the reality all of us must face, and i deem it true that once all of us step into the what we call the working world, start a family, it might all be seemingly over as there isn't even breathing space to cope with our own personal lives. but however, this would not be the case, if ties are maintained, bonds as classmates that were established over a period of two enduring years...
i am puzzled, even perturbed that the class might well be heading towards the final stages of a jenga tower - falling apart. and that's judging from what is obvious to my eyes, which to me, only disappointment calls. how is it that, friends who have spent almost two full years together as classmates, classmates who gathered together for assembly and recess periods, huddled together during class discussions, endured hardships after hardships in the face of the various competitions we've taken part in, could just leave that all behind, without any form of nostalgia and emotion. multiple thoughts even as i read through what i've written, and i hope its the same for you, classmates of 2005-2006.
i wish it was never the case, however hard i make it out to be, that we all just can't be bothered. the last get-together at Mrs Gay's house had so poor turn-out that i can't help but feel disappointed, after all it was thoroughly planned and thought through, details disseminated weeks before, with people all giving positive replies. on the very day itself, so many suddenly did not turn up, and i really hoped that thoughts like 'nah i don't feel like going' were not running through our minds as i honestly think all of us want to see each others' faces again
beyond a doubt, i relish every single moment i've spent with the class, and i truly hope that the road does not end here. its nothing about random thoughts, its feelings that come from my heart, feelings that i wish to share with you guys. and i sincerely hope to see you guys again, responding well, hearing each others' voices every once in a while. its not a pressing statement, and i do know we as a class, has the potential to drive on, in search for unfound boundaries and depths.
experiment and learn, as we all falter and miss a footing at some point in our lives. i treasure these bonds, and i really believe all of us do as well. and it is just a matter of waking up to a brand new day, finding newfound hope under the warmth of the rising sun

Maybe i'm just selfish, wanting to preserve and keep those 2 years worth of precious memories. Wanting it to continue... allowing me to constantly reminisce whatever's left of my JC days which i had thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe that's why i'm constantly involving myself with this "ever-so-dead" blog, doing things like changing the skin, wasting my precious time which could be spent elsewhere writing the html template for this blog.
But, is spending a few minutes a week, not even a day, checking the class blog such a difficult thing? Is it really too much to ask for? I really wonder, considering the fact that i'm a stay-in personnel. There are people out there, trying to do things to pull the fractioned class together; ideas like chalets, barbeques and sentosa outings.
The tagboard. A simple tool created for the sole purpose of conversations and discussions. Just tagging a comment like "Hi, this is j." would suffice. But still... things don't go the way they should.
Asking for the personal information of the used-to-be-class in hope that people one day may know about the possible job prospects/career paths/expertise of their fellow classmates such that help could be sought after in times of need; say looking for a chemistry major classmate when encountering future problems dealing with chemistry, or even seeking help from a business graduate when required? Sounds too good to be true. Simple yet unfulfilled.
Maybe not everyone enjoyed 2005/2006 as much as i did. Maybe some even hated their class; a class being just a place to study in, gather knowledge and scram right after they graduate, abandoning every bit of themselves spent within those 2 years. Severing all ties with people whom they once cheered for in times of competition, depended on in times of stress, laughed with in times of joy.

guess now. yes now we've to direct the attention to two things. first being its a concern no one's visiting the class blog at all. what is everyone doing?do respond to eugene's below post so i think he can revamp the blog further like refurbishing the links section. give him your new blog addresses, university courses etc! why wait?
second would be the imminent class outing. proposal would be a barbeque the barbi. ok bbq. so either we do it at desiree's house like before, or bra's house so can desir get back to me soon?and who wants to go to sentosa, get some tan and definitely some get-together! don't everyone feel its time we catch up, after two years spent together and it just fades away like this.. abit sian larh.den we can get some teachers to join us too. bet most of you all don't even know that ms lee's not a teacher anymore and stuff like that

i know its hard but yeah these brief attempts to sustain the blog's survival just makes me feel relieved that the class indeed isn't a distant memory, and i believe it really won't be. saw MS CHIA, our very own undisputed physics teacher in the papers, oh wow! i decided to try sth out, so i sms-ed her (on behalf of our class, without anyone's permission though haha), and it worked so here goes...

Sorry guys.. my boss balloted the chalet for me, but failed. Perhaps my boss' rank not high enough or some other high rank ***** wanted to book on the same day. (rank also play a part in things like booking of chalet.. WTF!)

Well, I just went to my friend's bday party at Changi Sea View Chalet. It's SAF chalet, but heck it! it's really cool and big and it's facing the sea. No doubt there are only 2 rooms, but i guarantee it's not bad for SAF chalets. lol. It's only 240 for 4 days 3 nights. I got my boss to ballot for this slot so it's not guarantee that i will get it. But just wanna check if you guys are interested AND able to make it for the chalet. :)
it's right after Xmas and we have one or two birthdays to celebrate then.................................

Yo everybody so we finally met again yesterday after quite some time lol...anw I think there were like only 13 of us?ya and only 2 girls turned up...I dunno man you girls make it look as if uni is going to be a totally no-life kind of thing....seriously.
Anw I think all of us were still pretty much the same except we have like one third of the guys into japanese language lol the rest into other things of their own which I'm not aware of lol.But it was great to here our guys sing haha nice voices all(and no,I didn't make that comments based on the crappy point system LOL)and also YueZhi who came in the end to add in the feminine touch lol sounds weird...but honestly hearing a female voice hit the high notes is more soothing la lol.And I think ZhiYuan was total OWNAGE when he sang the SEPHIA wa it was like WOAH word for word,tune for tune sia lol.And Mrs Gay's two dogs were still the same.The small one still so timid and the big one still abit random XD Got one time I come out of toilet open the door suddenly the big one standing right outside staring at me sia I was like wtf O_O got abit of a shock lol...
Alright lets meet up again soon dun need to wait for school event la huh lol a simple movie or what is good enough we will probably do routine stuff like eating supper after a night movie or what either way if it gets the class together why not?Anw thnx Darren for organising this time round although you were one hour late XD

anyways, its been a long time since i last posted here. had alot of trouble trying to log in with the blogmaster account and after all the shit, it seems like it isn't working very well... damn Google, ever since they bought over, now can only log in with a google acct, and they dun let me create a Google acct for the class blog. Zzzzzz....
Anyways, i was thinking of revamping this blog... skin and template and all, to provide a more wholesome 05s01 class blog with profiles of its people. so it'd be great if you people can...
1) send me a personal photo which i will eventually upload into the 05s01 personnel profile (most updated one would be good)

hey hello ohayo yo.
okay this is kinda adrupt but i need you guys to get back to me asap bsap so i can come up with a comprehensive plan for our next outing.YES I SAY AGAIN, our next outing =D
Mrs Gay told me that on the 12th of July, TPJC is holding an open house called the Watercolours and she's in charge of it. So she requires our support in supporting/gracing the event featuring fun activities with attractive science workshops and the science centre portable planetarium, to look at stars. And her suggestion was we go for the open house and then to her house for a gathering. That day is also TK's birthday so i duno if he can come but if that is so we can have a birthday celebration as well. How apt! And of course, the once in a blue moon opportunity to step back into the school we once regarded as our second home, for that wholesome period of two years, how touching, and of course to see how undreadful that place has turned out to be, and look at xiao meimei didi gege jiejie. Henceforth i seek your reply soon so i can answer to Mrs Gay. I think those who are unable to come for the open house can still go straight to MrsGay's house. message me or tag on the class blog so that i can track the response. and help spread this news yea
and probably we can plan for an outdoor outing the next day(13th July)/week/next duno when. like sentosa etc, when everyone's around.do support me. like how bryan support himself all day

Yo peeps!! i have sms-ed every single member of 05S01 and i have got some replied. The general response is that they are for the idea. But for the guys, some of them are afraid that the chalet might clash with their duty schedules. Patrick will be out of Singapore till July 21st. Yue Zhi can only make it during the 2nd and 3rd week of July. Just wanna check when does school starts for the girls. lol..

HOW ABOUT A CLASS CHALET IN JULY?
cos I believe the girl's exams in U will prob end by then and also to avoid the June School Holiday extremely peak period. haha.. trying to scout any good chalets. So far i have scouted Aloha Loyang and the SAF Changi Fountain View Chalets. Aloha Loyang was the one we had for class chalet, which tantan booked it. :D Changi Fountain View is at Changi Village there. It's pretty big but also very ulu.
meanwhile, please respond (positively) while i gather all the info and update u guys again is it alright??

I know u all came here not by chance, but since u are here, just read to the end.
Tired of studying? Tired of having all work and no play? Want to vent your anger? Bored of staying at home and getting foot rot and brain rot? Not enough physical activity? Same as me? Don't worry cuz Pes C pesky 8-5 zho-bo-lang clerk is here to help!
Let's play badminton this weekend. Can't play tennis or rollerblade or kayak cuz not everyone knows. But everyone can hold a racket and whack that damn shuttlecock. Whoever is interested, please sound off!

Venue: probably at Bedok Sports Hall cuz Tampines is under renovation cuz the govt is too enthu about development.
Of course it's not yet confirmed; i don't know who's going. so if u just wanna play, SAY! it doesnt matter if its one guy, the rest girls, or one girl the rest guys, cuz that's even better right! so just tell me or dar by this friday (msn, sms, call, tag here, email, housecall, come to simpang tell me,) if u want.
in the end it may not even happen cuz i don't know if the halls are available.
