the end is nearing yet far
its appallingly fast how time flies
how we crossed each others' paths as strangers
as acquaintances and 'hi-bye' friends
but we made it somehow
bonded together as one, and only one

despite us approaching our parting ways
when all but the end is nearing
all i can wish for is ever-lasting friendship
that will accompany us till our hairs turn grey
till we leave this wonderful yet cruel place

we're now living in a sick place
filled with sick people who deteriorate matters
look far ahead down the streets
a sheet of grey greets us with a foul odour
that gives us headaches and pains our eyes
stop burning my dear dearest friends
for its still not too late though much damage is already done

strive hard my friends
for the battle is only half-fought
uphold that spirit for next couple of months
and show others what we're made of
